Outstanding Student Achievement Awards - 2006

Each May since 1990, MAPCS has sponsored the Outstanding Student Achievement Awards. This ceremony gives the state of Massachusetts, member schools—as well as family and friends—the opportunity to honor exceptional graduates. On May 15, 2006, at MAPCS 16th annual Outstanding Student Achievement Awards, thirteen students from a range of private career schools received awards at the Massachusetts State House in Boston. Senator Robert A. Antonioni sponsored MAPCS at the State House and Representative Patricia Haddad, Chair of the Joint Committee on Education, was guest speaker and presented awards and citations to students. A group photo and the individual winners' stories are featured below. Click on each student's name from the list for more details about each winner and why they were chosen for an award.
